What You Will Handle
- Examine clinical documentation and identify reportable diagnoses and procedures.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes as part of the daily process.
- Apply modifiers and specialty-specific coding guidelines while following quality guidelines.
- Code or audit E/M, surgery, critical-care and other assigned records.
- Recognise missing documentation and initiate appropriate clarification as part of the daily process.
- Keep productivity, accuracy and turnaround-time standards while following quality guidelines.
- Adhere to payer, CMS, AMA, HIPAA and client requirements.
- Participate in quality audits and continuous coding education as part of the daily process.
Eligibility and Candidate Profile
